12/28/2020 I wanted to share our story again from the beginning. If you are new here or have been around for a while, I wanted to share where we started. Sometimes its fun to look back at the beginning and see how far you have come. We bought this house in December of 2018 and started remodeling it right away, mostly doing all the work ourselves.
01/05/2020 Hi there!! My name is Jessie and this is my first blog post! Welcome! Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, truly!
I live in Las Vegas, NV with my husband & 4 kids. We bought the only 5 bedroom, one story in our price range we could find. I wanted to take you along our journey of remodeling this 1996 home ourselves. Im a little late starting this blog being its 11 months later but I wanted to start this blog as if it were from the time we bought it and catch up to our current projects! So let’s get started!!

This is the entrance from the front door. See that coat closet? Bye, Bye!
From the front door to your right, which is the dining room.
This view is from the dining room looking into the family room. This also is a better view of the closet that is being removed
Very 90’s basic kitchen. We didn’t have a lot a cabinet space but we figured out a solution. We were so happy this house had an open concept but the dining room was still separate. Can you see that big window to the right? That will be our entertaining room for guest(no pic). Traditionally known as a living room. Who needs two couches? A bar is better! Right?
The family room. The kitchen is to the right. I was so happy to have a fireplace to decorate for the holidays, especially Christmas!
Master Bedroom, nice and boring. Only one wall we can put the bed against, which is a bummer because I like to change things up every so often and move furniture around.
Master Bath We are keeping the shower and the tub for now. Remodels are expensive!
Guest Bath. Ain’t it a beauty??
